A LOT of backlinking services offered give you a list of PR0-PR2 backlinks, that's why they are so cheap. The service you need is PR4+, this is where your link juice comes from!
Not only do you need PR4+, but you need links that will 'stick'. Many backlinking services offer PR4+, but they are nearly all blog comments! Why is this such a problem? Because blogs are monitored by humans on a daily basis. If they see a link in the comments and it has nothing related to their blog, they are going to delete it (duh!) I don't want to basically re-type everything that I have said in my other post, so if you are at all interested, read this post I made: |

Everyone Who Is Anyone Will Tell You:
Don't Even THINK Of Running An IM Business Without THESE! You've been through everything with your site. You've got all your keywords selected, all your affiliate links cloaked, and everything ready for your visitors to come on by. But if you don't rank, they won't find you. And no matter where you go, no matter who you talk to, everyone who knows anything about SEO and ranking will tell you: You Need Backlinks And not just any old links, either - what you need is High PR, Dofollow backlinks that stick forever - instead of expiring and disappearing like dust in the wind. You need exact keyword anchor text on multiple sites. |

I call this The Lost Art of Naked Linking.
When I read other people's linking strategies, this is generally how they do it... 1. Build a site. 2. Get a whole lotta links from a variety of sources as fast as possible. 3. Move on to the next site. And that works... don't get me wrong. But it's not the way that I prefer to do it. And let me explain why... When I build a site, my goal is authority first, ranking second. Oftentimes, the ranking comes as a direct result of authority, but it's more by accident rather than focused effort. But once authority is reached (and yes, I have a formula for that as well), then the 'rank for specific key terms' phase kicks in. So what does all of this have to do with naked linking? Everything!!!! ------- http://affiliateradio .com/1227/the-lost-art-of -naked-linking/comment-pa ge-2/ |
